Report of this years Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design Exhibition

Application Form

Invitation for Selection

Dear Maker

Please find on this part of the web-site the Terms and Conditions and application form for the 15th 'Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design’ held at Thirlestaine Long Gallery, Cheltenham College.  A report on the 2007 exhibition is also here should you wish to read it.

The numbers of exhibitors will remain limited; a reservation list is held, but most of the makers on this list remain disappointed so it is essential to secure your place early.  The application deadline is Friday 7th March 2008.

To maintain and continue to increase the quality of this exhibition it is necessary to employ an invitation and selection procedure.  Makers and artists of all disciplines are invited to apply, but because of the dearth of exhibition facilities for furniture nationally, this will still be the major feature of the exhibition for which Thirlestaine Long Gallery is ideally suited.   If you wish to take part in the exhibition, please submit 6 images of your work, slides, photographs or digital images on cd (not via e-mail), along with the completed application form, fee and s.a.e. for consideration by the selection panel.  If you are unsuccessful your photographs will be returned to you as will your unbanked cheque.

With very best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous 2008

 Yours sincerely

 Betty Norbury,

Exhibition Organiser
